On this special Wednesday before Easter (please note Thursday is a bank holiday in Denmark) Parallel is in Black Box for the first time inviting the resident DJ of Kater Blau and a core member of the Kater community in Berlin, Sascha Cawa who is also co-founder and one of the main producers behind the label Katermukke. Famous for his joint productions with Dirty Doering, he is also involved in the sounds of several other well-established German artists such as Britta Arnold and Madmotormiquel. His latest own productions and remixes have been released on Heinz Music, Formatik, Ursl, Dear Deer and Karera. Sascha’s DJ journeys are refined and eclectic, technically impeccable, ranging from percussive and deep to melodic and emotive house.

The opening set in Black Box is played by Bongo & Pusk. Now behind the parties called Natmaskinen, they have a long history together and been friends since school, doing mix tapes and music production instead of homework. They are releasing music on Tonkind, Compute Music and Get Physical.

Parallel main man Nilu (DK) rounds things off nicely with his deep and melodic sounds. If anyone knows a thing or two about getting a dance floor going, it has to be him. He also recently upped his game with productions on Lump Records and Golden Gate Records. We know he’s very excited to bring his quality party brand to Culture Box.
