Today, we can reveal that the Swedish techno/house festival Department is taking place on May 24th in Copenhagen for the very first time! Compared to the big warehouse festival in Stockholm, our first edition ever on Danish soil will be a smaller club show at the amazing Studio 2 in the DR Concert Hall.

To make our first edition very special, we bring you no other than MACEO PLEX. After nearly 20 years of producing Maceo Plex is one of the biggest names in the electronic music and his show during Distortion Festival 2017 was nothing close than magical. We now bring him back to you for a full out rave evening.

We are also adding one of Swedens best producers and dj´s, AXEL BOMAN from the amazing Studio Barnhus label. Axel and his fellow label mate are making huge noize all over the world at the moment and to team him up with Maceo Plex on this evening just feels right.

Department has taken place in Stockholm since 2017 with artists and DJ’s like; Peggy Gou, Underworld, Solomun, Paul Kalkbrenner, Princess Nokia, Axel Boman, Planningtorock, Jon Hopkins, Anja Schneider, Tale of us, Magdalena, Kornél Kovács and Todd Terje.
