Event Details

After swimming, expanding and merging in the selfless ocean of our own first ‘Summer of Love’, Papa and His Children, as one collective entity, are soon to bring our consciously projected sounds, thoughts and feelings back to our winter-night Mothership, known as Electrowerkz.
To board this journey, we ask you to hold on to two words as your mental ticket: Love and Unconditional. Our ever-burning world is filled with ‘love’ but a love in its lowest manifestations; a love that is ‘needy’ and always wants something in return, a love that binds us to an object or a person beyond our control, a love saved only for our little family, nation or circle of friends and a possessive love that one day is turned as easily to hate as it previously turned to love. This is Not the Love we refer to! To truly experience something far and beyond, we have to raise our frequencies to the highest forms of Love. This Love is rooted in acceptance, inclusivity, limitlessness, non-judgment, ever-expansiveness and is Unconditional. Of course, non of us is the perfect Cosmic Lover (yet) but the more we tune-in to the above, the better we become. The moment we do not expect anything in return and stretch our Love to each and every being on the planet and beyond, we are bound to experience something universal and truly transcendental. One can only imagine how overwhelming a party of boundless Unconditional Love at its core can be.. and we don’t have to go back to 1967 in California to experience it! We can form our own upgraded and refined pocket of Love here and now, in London 2018. Boarding the One Unifying Consciousness of Love, with Papa Loko as one of its many worldly vehicles, has now started.

WE ADVISE YOU TO BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE TO AVOID LONG QUEUES! Once the night is gone, is gone!!

ID REQUIRED

We are thrilled to welcome both to our party and the UK at large, the fast upcoming Copenhagen-based duo Baime (Blindfold Recordings), best known for their raw and unpolished melodic tech sound. Baime’s tracks have been gaining momentum soaring the Beatport charts with support from luminaries such as Sébastien Léger, Hunter/Game and George FitzGerald. Baime have been brining their show-stopping live performances and DJ sets in underground parties and major festivals around Europe playing alongside Adana Twins, Adriatique, Einmusik, Andre Lodemann, Ruede Hagelstein and others.

Loko’s founder Othon has created a unique musical world that includes cosmic techno DJ sets, shamanic electronic productions and emotive post-minimalist neoclassical compositions. A polymath and a dedicated consciousness explorer, he has performed his music in venues such as the Tate Modern and The Roundhouse in the UK and across Europe. He has created work with Marc Almond, David Michael Tibet/ Current 93, Wolfgang Tillmans and other influential artists and creatives including shamans from the Amazon. He is currently completing his first solo piano album, while working on a series of techno & electronica releases.

Creative partners from London and Boston, Tom & Jarrod, have been guesting at Papa Loko for the last two years. Their cosmic, sexy, queer, multicultural faerie techno is a perfect match to the party. Previous appearances include the Queer Spirit Festival and Featherstone Castle. For Unconditional, Tom & Jarrod will prepare the set together but only Tom Warner will be with us in bodily form due to Jarrod’s pre-planned absence from the country.

Chile born Dopamina (Martina DopaMina) has travelled across oceans with her drums and flutes bringing her deep, multicultural & tribal sound to festivals and venues across the UK and beyond including Germany’s Fusion, Wales’ Fire in the Mountains and UK’s Shambala Festival. Dopamina did her Loko debut in September and her exquisite trippy sound merged perfectly with the Spirit of the party.
