Denmark’s most legendary monthly party, What Happens returns for a very special Easter night of hedonistic raving and fun. Born in Norway but now residing in Denmark when not traveling the globe, Djuma Soundsystem is back at Culture Box. He describes himself “a happy idiot, making some afro beats with tech sounds on top”, although he’s had huge global success with releases out on Get Physical, Sol Selectas, Crosstown Rebels and Audiomatique to name a few.
What Happens stalwart Tim Andresen has the longest-running relationship with Culture Box. He has been playing here since 2005 and helped define the music policy of the club and, subsequently, the Danish club scene. His production portfolio includes work for Tenampa Recordings, Re:FreshYourMind, Younan Music and of course What Happens and Savoir Faire Musique. Nandu has long been one to watch with a growing arsenal of productions on labels like MoBlack, Connected, Azzur, This And That and many more. After continuously making great shows here at Culture Box but also internationally, the Calypso Chili label owner is now a firm favourite amongst the Culture Box faithful.
Morten Buch and Andreas Jarner met while studying and quickly discovered they shared a common interest in music and the club community. Now known as Buch & Jarner, melodic deep house and tech house is the thing for the storytelling DJ-duo. We thought it would be good and proper to invite them back to perform in Red Box.
